1/15/05 to 7/08 - Service Corporation International : Houston – Technical Instructional Designer.
Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and training staff to design and develop courses. Courses are SCORM conformant and reside on an LMS. Tools for development are Flash, Captivate, Camtasia, Flash Form, ToolBook, etc. Green Screen video editing and audio production are utilized to enhance the user experience (Sound Forge, Acid, Adobe Audition).

• Set and maintain standards of quality, design, language, and appearance across multiple delivery formats through the use of templates, style guides, and content/asset libraries
• Extensive experiences in all phases of instructional design: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

Most recent client: ExxonMobil – Creation of Flash/HTML/CDROM presentations. Studio Recording of Voice Over talent via ProTools LE.
Worked with various ExxonMobil Depts on E-Learning presentations. The E-Learning piece I helped build was created in HTML and Flash, and was aimed at instructing managers on how to input employee salary increases into the payroll system.

Develop and maintain company policies and procedures for effective ad development. Work with sales staff on design and marketing approach for client ads. Maintain Ad System (Vignette). Strategic development of company web site, and responsible for Content Management.

2/2002 – 12/2003 - RGC Ventures: Atlanta, GA – Dallas, TX – Houston, TX
Design and Web Development. Concept to Creation of corporate/agency efforts. Working with client to establish Internet and Intra-net projects. Established training methods and instructed staff on methodology of their site.

My role was to develop procedural methods and policies for presentation materials for Web and CD-ROMs. Created FLASH movies and Web Sites.
Coordinated with staff to insure client satisfaction and that, all projects adhered to COMPAQ branding policies.

FLASH DEVELOPER –Design Dept.
Designed and converted video into FLASH.


7/1995–9/1999 - Web Staff - Houston, TX: Web Project Agent/Recruiter
Duties included finding and recruiting web/it talent. Interviewing, testing, and placing talent. Working with clients on staffing needs.
Developed Marketing Strategies for company.
From 95-97 company was called MacTemps.

8/1993–7/1995 - Boy Scouts of America - Houston, TX: District Executive
Raised money for Scouting. Sold Scouting to community.  Managed staff of 35 reps.
Developed Marketing Strategies for company.

7/1991–5/1993 - St. Thomas University - Houston, TX: Computer Services Dept. and Financial Aid Office.  Responded to campus computer needs.  Mac/PC support.  Phone support.
Assisted students with their Financial Aid information.
